In 1974 Eldin R Corsie, who was at the time National Youth Director of the Elim Church in the UK and Pastor at Kensington Temple, wrote the following for the cover of The Presence of Your Spirit

“Len’s songs are contemporary compositions, intensely warm and rhythmic. There is a distinctive sincerity of interpretation in his inspiring music. These highly original songs complement each other and Len had succeeded magnificently in communicating the gospel message. Not only is he a musician, but also a gifted preacher who walks closely with God. Len’s conviction that preaching supersedes singing has given the right balance to his ministry. His repertoire is ‘Spirit Music’, characteristic of the spontaneous, joyful life which is evident in this generation of Christian young people.”

“Len was converted from the hippie drug orientated subculture, which brought him from Australia through Singapore, Calcutta and Northern India, and the city of Katmandu in Nepal, to Europe and eventually Great Britain.

This has given him an authentic concern for his contemporaries which emerges clearly in the Biblical content of the lyrics. The disc is a significant contribution to modern gospel singing at its best.”
